A.S. Rind is a Karachi-based visual artist. Inspired by the poetry of the masters Ghalib, Faiz Ahmed Faiz and Allama Iqbal. Rind illustrates his thoughts with portraiture portraying delicate female forms in colorful traditional dress and jewelry and classic symbols creating a narrative often accompanied by the poet’s text.
Rind is a versatile artist who graduated from CIAC (Central Institute of Art and Craft) in 1988. Rind found his unique personal idiom in the new millennium by fusing moods and styles with great success using oil or acrylic as his media.
