Born in 1981 in Karachi, Pakistan, Mahreen Zuberi completed her BFA with a distinction from the prestigious National College of Arts, Lahore. Since then she has exhibited in local and international art exhibitions and her work is part of prominent art collections across the world. Her work has strong feminist undertones as she navigates through issues related to gender and identity.
She has been on the visiting faculty of School of Visual Arts Beacon House National University, Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture and is currently coordinator of the Fine Art program at the Karachi University, Department of Visual Studies.
