Nabeel studied Fine Arts from the Karachi School of Art in 2004 and completed his B.A. from Karachi University in 2008 and M.A. from Karachi University in 2012. Specialising in sculpture, Nabeel works on commission works and projects. He has exhibited his art at various galleries such as: a solo show at the Gulmohar Art Gallery, a Group show at V.M Art Gallery and Art Chowk Gallery. He had an international art gallery submission in London with his work ‘Surprise Candy.’ Nabeel’s works look into politics, and human relationships using metaphors and symbolism.
The first work being submitted now ‘Andhi Taqleed’ (meaning the Blind Follower), built in 2018, is an installation with a sculpture that displays a life size human leg built out of many hundreds of folding paper crabs.
The second, called ‘Partition Continuing,’ was made in 2013, and displays a series of rats that make up a cheese wheel.
