Arsalan Naqvi is a Hyderabad based artist known for his portraits and depiction of rural life in interior Sindh. Arsalan has a Diploma in Fine Arts from Khana-e-Farhang Hyderabad (cultural center of Iran). He draws men and women in charcoals and mixes watercolors in his paper drawings, often drawn on newspapers. His work revolves around human expression through symbolism. The symbols are embedded in unconscious elements, emotions, sensations, and memories of nomadic and street children. I could not help but put them on canvas. His paintings are a mere tribute to the darkness of their childhood.
