
Nukta was a biannual – contemporary art magazine of Pakistan. The name NuktaART can also be read as nukta-e-nazar or viewpoint.
The endeavour of Niilofur Farrukh, Rumana Husain and Amra Ali, Nukta was an art publication with a global perspective but also firmly rooted in the creative terrain of Pakistan. Nukta aimed to give a voice to Pakistani art in print and also to look at it critically as well as view it in a global context. It’s discourse included related disciplines like archaeology, architecture, design, performing arts and film.
