Maheen Aziz is a Karachi based writer whose areas of interest are art, culture & entertainment. Starting her career as a journalist, she worked in the editorial department of The News International and then joined a contemporary art magazine, Art Now Pakistan. She holds a position of Media Coordinator at the International Watercolor Society and has written many articles on national and international Biennales in local English publications.
Aziz regularly interviews local and foreign artists and reviews national and international art shows in many publications such as Art Now Pakistan, Dawn, The News, Express Tribune, Fashion Collection Magazine, South Asia Magazine, Fuschia, TNS. She has also extensively written on social issues, health issues and women’s rights and issues.
Currently, Aziz is working as the Manager and Assistant Editor at Art Now Pakistan.
