Saira Danish Ahmed has a postgraduate degree in Art & Design Education from the University of New South Wales, Australia and an earlier one in History from Karachi University. Her pedagogical expertise lies in Art History and Academic Writing. Ahmed’s teaching career spans over a period of eighteen years to include Karachi American School, AIFD, TIP, Bahria University, TMUC and CEP at Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture. Between 2017- 2018 Ahmed worked as an Associate Editor at ArtNow Pakistan and participated as an active member of KB Discursive (2017) whilst serving as the Director for Research and Projects at Sanat Initiative. Mother of two boys and married to Syed Danish Ahmed, she is settled in Karachi.
