The establishment of the Mariam Abdulla Library (MAL) coincided with the inception of the Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture in 1989. MAL houses approximately 13,152 resources, including 1800 dissertations based on the primary research work carried out by the IVS students every year, as part of their academic requirement of the Undergraduate Programme, CDs/DVDs and School Archives. One impact factor journal and 37 subscribed Art and Design magazines are also available in the library. The Library is equipped with core i7 computers that have Internet Wi-Fi connectivity and OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) where library users can search the library database. MAL also has access to PERN 2 and online databases like JSTOR along with the digital library provided by HEC (Higher Education Commission of Pakistan).
MAL is also providing facility to check plagiarism using Turnitin online to enable students and faculty to check their documents, essays and research work.
