The Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi is a non-commercial and non-profit making organisation devoted to the promotion of arts and crafts. Its Memorandum and Articles of Association fully explain the aims and objectives of the Council.
The Arts Council fosters and encourages the development of fine arts and crafts, theatre, dance, music, literature, architecture, floral art, performing arts, film, TV, radio broadcasting, mass communications, literary functions, interior designing and sculpture. It also promotes the study and appreciation of the arts, with the help of artists and art lovers, through exhibitions, lectures, workshops, film shows, seminars, stage shows, concerts, national and international festivals and performances, and publications, for the benefit of society.
