Artisan Village is situated in Sindh Provincial Museum as a cultural village. The Artisan village is managed by SITCO where Craft Experience workshops are setup demonstrate their crafts in these workshops. During exhibitions & events, artisans belonging to various other crafts are invited to demonstrate their craft techniques for visitors. These craft masters are also bringing their crafts directly to the clients at reasonable prices.
A Crafts display center is setup in the premises to facilitate artisans to display artisanal products. Model Chaunro is setup here that is a rural house of Thar Desert. It has a round structure topped by a conical thatch roof. It is built over a mud plastered platform. It has a spacious courtyard enclosed by a fence of thorny bushes. The structure is made from local available materials in an eco-friendly manner.
