Though Akhlaq Ahmed’s vast portfolio includes both human and animal forms, his preference is nature. By painting landscapes and nature he feels the most connected with his own self. Hailing from Bhawalpur, Ahmed joined the profession in 2001 and trained with Haider Ali, his teacher and mentor.
Ahmed has quite a few prestigious projects to his name including Great Wall of Pakistani Truck Art Project at New Islamabad International Airport with Munawar Ali Syed and Wajid Ali Daharkiwala, Karsaz Bridge project and Jinnah Hospital project as part of Phool Patti team.
He prefers working in a team and his works are often collaborations with other tuck artists including Mohmammed Islam and Mohammed Jawad Fida.
