Identity inspires Fraz in most of his work – what makes us who we are. In a diverse cultured city, we live side by side but cannot be called a unified nation. In these times of identity crises he found the telephone directory to be just the right choice, out of which to carve a portrait and to give a sense of identity, that is simultaneously collective yet individual.
