Imran Soomro holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts with Distinction and Silver Medal in Advance Painting from the Center of Excellence in Arts and Design in Jamshoro, Sindh, Pakistan. Currently, Imran is a History Scholar at AIOU in Islamabad, Pakistan. In addition to his education, Imran is a member of several art organizations internationally and in Pakistan, one such includes ICOM Pakistan Sindh Chair.
Being an artist Soomro has used digital imaging and photomontage to express works in the language of the 21st century connecting yesterday with today and to usher in times to come. He uses techniques of Digital Imaging and Photomontage to express his feelings about the continuum of history in the modern existing world today.
