Mehreen Rahman is a self-expressionist artist specialising in abstract and abstract calligraphy. She has had an active painting career since 2003 Mehreen’s first show, “Inner Eye”, was displayed at the Alliance Francaise in 2006.
Her compositions and themes are characterised by bold and bright colours, making every piece work of art. She explores various themes, in the abstract, such as the waiting series, mother and child, and dancing away. These themes showcase the life of women from different walks of life.
Her calligraphic series features the 99 names of Allah, short duas which she depicts in bold colours and metallics to create grand and outstanding calligraphic compositions.
