Mehtab Ali began his career as a professional artist in 1982. His first solo exhibition was held at the Alliance Francaise in 1994. Since then he has had many solo and group shows at the national and international level. His talent as an artist is God given. He qualified with a B.Sc from Karachi University and mostly paints figurative traditional, cultural and urban women. He loves and enjoys his pen ‘n ink drawings.
A few of his worldwide special displays are, The Royal Family Palace, Brunei, The Islamic Centre, Washington D.C., USA, Alliance Francaise de Paris, The Japan Foundation, Tokyo, Japan and The Quaid e Azam portrait display at Sindh Assembly, Karachi.
