S.A. Noory is a visual artist. He first appeared on the art scene of Karachi in 1998 in a two-person show.
Over the years, he has developed his oeuvre, which includes a wide range of subjects rendered in the miniature tradition. He has successfully captured the delicacy of line, aesthetics of color combinations with transparency and play of light and shadow, wash effects, and silky smoothness of curves, portraying facial expressions and the aura of a situation. The objective is to express various emotional reactions such as joy, pain and sorrow in a vocabulary of brush strokes and palette.
