An artist who expresses himself through several different means & mediums, Sanki produces art out of an inner necessity; the tools and mediums are merely the means to an end. His work is a reflection of his inner life; the intangible life that can only be given life & physical presence through art. This inner drive and impulse to create art is the result of the artist’s dive into a bottomless pit inside of himself as a teenager, in the hopes of finding himself, and everything that the artist has produced so far and what he continues to produce, are the things that he found & held on to while falling deeper into the abyss.
An artistic practice that spans almost 2 decades, Sanki continues to produce work along the lines of abstract expression, portraiture, graffiti, calligraffiti & symbolism.
