Shehla Tabassum began her training in calligraphy under the guidance of Mohammed Kashif Khan and has been practicing as a calligraphy artist since seven years. Shehla is a graduate from Karachi School of Art and her final year thesis project was on the theme of prayer. That began her interest in the art of calligraphy and she decided to seek training in this art. Shehla works on private commissions and has also participated in two group shows.
